What Is Amwell?

Amwell is a faster, easier way to see a doctor. You can have video visits anytime with a doctor who can provide:

  • Answers to medical questions
  • Treatment for acute conditions
  • Second opinions
  • Prescriptions and prescription renewals

It’s easy to use, private, secure, and available to all employees—even if you’re not enrolled in an NVIDIA medical plan. Plus, it’s free to enroll.

Amwell offers:

  • Your choice of trusted, U.S. board-certified doctors and therapists
  • Video visits using the web or mobile app
  • Consultation, diagnosis—even prescriptions (when appropriate)

Amwell can be used at any time, day or night. It’s perfect when your doctor’s office is closed, you’re too sick or busy to see someone in person, or even when you’re traveling.

Note: Amwell is available in most states, with the exception of AK, AL, AR, LA, and TX, where state law prohibits providers from practicing online.

The following states allow visits, but don’t allow physicians to prescribe medications: CO, ID, IN, NH, and TN.

  • It’s affordable—It can also save you money on copay or coinsurance costs
  • It’s confidential—NVIDIA does not have access to your individual health information
  • It’s free to enroll—You only pay for your visits

"AmWell is an amazing program. Being a full-time working mom, it is hard to get to a doctor and get the care I need. This past Saturday, I was not feeling well with a fever and horrible cough. I had my 3-year-old daughter, and my husband was traveling for work. I did not want to go to urgent care with my 3 year old. I signed up and logged in to AmWell. I was connected with a doctor within five minutes. My meds were sent to the pharmacy and ready for pickup within an hour. Loved it and now I have signed up my husband so that he has the program at his fingertips, too. I would recommend this to everyone!"
