NVIDIA offers a variety of options for Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance. Employees working more than 20 hours a week are eligible for coverage.

Coverage Options & Payout

Benefit Description Payout
Basic Life Insurance Paid to your beneficiaries if you die

Accelerated benefit: If you are diagnosed with a terminal illness, you may be eligible to receive 75% of your benefit (up to $250,000) before your death to help with expenses.

2.5 times your annual total target compensation, up to $1 million
Basic AD&D Insurance Paid to your beneficiaries if you die or lose limbs in an accident 2.5 times your annual total target compensation, up to $1 million
Basic Spouse Life Insurance Paid to you if your spouse dies $25,000 in coverage (pay imputed income on amounts over $2,000)
or
$2,000 in coverage (no imputed income)
Basic Child Life Insurance Paid to you if your child dies $5,000 in coverage (pay imputed income on amounts over $2,000)

Supplemental Life Insurance (Employee) Paid to your beneficiaries if you die From one to eight times your annual total target compensation, up to $1 million
Supplemental Life Insurance (Spouse) Paid to you if your spouse dies $10,000 increments, up to $500,000, not to exceed employee Basic Life Insurance amount
Supplemental Life Insurance (Children) Paid to you if your child dies $2,500 increments, up to $20,000

Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance are fully paid for by NVIDIA.

Costs for all other insurance options are based upon age and the amount selected. Costs are available on the U.S. Benefits Enrollment Site. You must be connected to the NVIDIA network to access this link.

How To Enroll

You’re automatically enrolled in Basic Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Basic Spouse Life, and Basic Child Life Insurance.

You can enroll in supplemental insurance plans through the U.S. Benefits Enrollment Site at any time. (You must be connected to the NVIDIA network to access this link.) Evidence of insurability may apply; if required, Prudential, the plan administrator, will send you a form to fill out.
